Bahçe

Bahçe district is opening door of the east side of the Osmaniye, and it’s famous for water resources.

The population of the county is 22.242 people. The large portion of the county’s economy is based on agricultural, livestock and sylvicultural activities. Beside industrial enterprises such as Başer Chemistry and Barit Mining there are spring water filling factories that have important share both in domestic and foreign market. Bahçe also has Windpower Plants and has one industrial zone. Also there is one vocational school of higher education called “Bahçe Vocational High School” is appurtenant to Osmaniye Korkut Ata University.
